This site is chock full of clear, concise information on energy-efficient, resource-efficient, and healthy building practices. It addresses material selection, siting, indoor air quality, daylighting, and many other topics such as product reviews. Easy to maneuver, this site will keep you posted on upcoming green building conferences and can connect you to a number of green building sites through its "greenlinks."
2. Solstice.
Under this site's three main topic areas, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Sustainable Living, you can find a wealth of information. From case studies, to technical information, to financial and planning issues, this site has it all-even a slide show! Icons and clear visuals make for an enjoyable surf through the material. Hundreds of related links.
3. Resources for Environmental Design Index.
This site is probably the most comprehensive on-line green product source and it's easy to maneuver through the "product gallery." Search by product type or by company and find every thing from straw bale construction techniques to Clivus Multrum composting toilets! Linked to other green sites
4. On the Ground.
Not many bells and whistles, but the information is comprehensive and a welcome addition for a broader perspective on green development issues. The site covers community, design, and the environment. Topics include housing, mixed uses, ecology, transportation, public space and regional form. Interviews with cutting edge professionals.
5. Greenclips.
While not a terribly exciting site (sight) when you first log on, it will keep you up to date on the highlights of the latest in sustainable design for buildings, green architecture, and related government and business issues, with summaries of recent articles in the media.
