LAW

1. The Environmental Law Institute not only publishes news on ELI's recent activities, but has three separate pages of links for member organizations that include public interest groups, major law firm environmental sections, and corporate practices.

2. The World Wide Web Virtual Library: Law : Environmental is my new favorite Fall 1997 site. It links an extraordinary array of useful sites of keen interest to activists as well as sites rich for scholarly research. It includes contrarian views as well as those users might find more comfortable.

3. The library of Cornell Law School serves as a "law library" for general research. The law is a seamless web and the best lawyers synthesize, casting solutions forged in one field into new institutional arrangements for another. Thus, access to a library rich in other areas of law (contracts, personal injury, constitutional law) is necessary for effective environmental law researcher.

4. The Library of Congress legal reference service is essential for anyone following current legislation or needing the exact statutory language in digitalized form. This is a must site for the working environmental lawyer.

5. Pace Law School virtual environmental law library is my favorite among specialized environmental law collections. It focuses on foreign and international developments and offers links to sites specializing in international and foreign law.

See also... the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is essential for anyone working with the EPA. Offers information in great depth, far greater than easily retrievable through conventional means.
